Field Service Technician – Optical Equipment

For a leader in high-end optical measurement equipment and technical services, we – tHRee – are recruiting a Field Service Technician who will operate both on-site (70%) and remotely (30%). You’ll be the technical face of the company for installations, repairs, and proactive support of optical devices used by opticians and eye-care professionals across Belgium.

Your Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and carry out repairs, maintenance & calibration on-site

  • Provide remote support and first/second line troubleshooting

  • Plan and perform on-site interventions when required

  • Inform clients about updates, upgrades and service contracts

  • Execute software updates remotely or during visits

  • Administer technical documentation and spare parts orders

  • Act as liaison between client expectations and internal teams

  • Contribute to continuous service improvement

Your Profile

  • Technical degree (electronics, electromechanics, mechatronics, etc.)

  • Experience in technical service, field interventions or helpdesk

  • Strong customer communication and diagnostic skills

  • Fluent in Dutch and French – English is a plus

  • Familiar with ICT networks and diagnostic tools

  • Proactive, organized, solution-oriented and mobile

Bonus: experience with optical or medical instruments
