Your role

As part of its expanding WTE portfolio, we – tHRee – are looking for a skilled Instrumentation Engineer.
You’ll be responsible for the design, sizing, specification, and implementation of instrumentation systems used to control and monitor major installations (boilers, furnaces, utilities…).

Your responsibilities

  • Design P&IDs and control logic diagrams

  • Specify field devices: sensors, valves, analyzers, control loops

  • Interface with DCS/PLC systems and industrial fieldbuses (Profibus, Modbus…)

  • Write technical specifications, calculations, and supplier documentation

  • Ensure compliance with ATEX, IEC, PED, EN 14181 and related standards

  • Coordinate with project teams (process, automation, electrical)

  • Support commissioning, FAT/SAT testing, and regulatory conformity

  • Work with engineering tools: AVEVA, COMOS, AutoCAD, EPLAN...

Your profile

  • Degree in engineering (electrical, automation, instrumentation, energy)

  • 3–10 years of experience in industrial instrumentation

  • Familiarity with thermal systems (WTE, boilers, steam networks, emissions)

  • Strong understanding of control systems and standards

  • Detail-oriented, autonomous, and accountable

  • Fluent in French – technical English required for supplier communication
